So I’m Brompton curious. As most pre-owners, the price makes me wary so I’m looking at the used market, filling me with even more questions.
I’ll post a few questions and then likely go away. I live in Japan so lots of my questions may seem like they’re strange - they are. It’s a weird place.
might as well start here! Is upgrading gears from an S1 to an s6 possible? Wife and I are mostly in the multi-modal-tourism bracket for these and touring on a single gear isn’t appealing.
Also, I haven’t been enthralled about the brakes on the brommies I’ve ridden. Any advice on how to make them stickier?
