I am going to screeaaaammmmmmm......Photo editing software issues

Ok...calm down man...

...right.

All I am trying to do is bring my pictures from my HTC desire phone into my laptop and have them all in one folder but maintain the order in which they were taken (which is th eorder they appear in the phone)

Every time i try to bring them in some poisonous gremlin from hell re arranges th eorder totally ramdomly, then randomly reduces or leaves the pixles sizes alone across any random pictures and then imports two copies of each....result..chaos, frustration and an uncontollable desire to ditch all this shoot and buy an old kodak and go back to boots after my hols.

The laptop is new. .Dell with windows 7 premium...it came loaded with all kinds of software i dont want and seem unable to remove...like dell photo suite gizmo...

Also i can import with window explorer or just windows...i have no idea what the difference is..

now..here is the thing...my old nokia prehistoric phone imports picts in th eright order and puts them where i tell it ..not where the computer deems worthy...

forgive my fuming rage slightly concerned tone here....
but life is becoming to short for technology that promises the world but delivers nothing but a need to spend ones entire friggin life in front of a screen.

Does anybody know how to uninstall photo software that comes with laptops that wont uninstall under the remove software options..?

Perhaps if i had no software it would be better...

.................arrgghh.

Im not expecting answrs here...more...a place to express my frustrations.....anybody have a teenager i can borrow?

When you plug your phone in. does a box open 'Auto Play' asking you what you want to do eg open folder/import with etc.

I just go to open folder and copy it to the part of the computer i want it in and the order stays the same. Or once you plug your phone in go to 'computer' pick the drive your phone is on and go to the folder and copy it (delete folder when you are sure you have what you want'

As for removing your photo program you could use CCleaner

Why dont you just install Dropbox on your phone and tell it that you want your photos uploading automatically then also install it on your pc and they will be there as well.

If you really want to uninstall the bloatware a program that doesn't want to be uninstalled then I've found revo uninstaller to be very good. It's a freeware.
