thanks for the comments! Just got home this afternoon. Less than three hours flight for a ride of 29 days! Feeling stuffed from a huge curry!

@mmmmartin just seen this but only 3 years later! Hotels in Spain were about 25eur (look for a hostal which is not the same as a hostel in the UK sense). A small pension/hotel. Wifi and aircon as standard. The one campsite I went to in Spain was 16eur
