As part of my service by the LBS - I got them to put a new Marathon on if the bill didn't come to too much! (Didn't want to commit if they had found something expensive that needed fixing). So that saved me that job

I can fit them - not that easily and especially not a brand new tyre - they seem to get easier with age (I suppose things start to go a bit saggy after a time don't they)

Half an hour? Lightweight!!
I'll raise you all of Friday afternoon and most of Saturday blown away by the stark realisation that a 600mm wide kitchen unit will not go into a 597mm gap, however big a hammer I use.
I have, however, invented a word for an irrational fear and loathing of chipboard (ikeaphobia), so the weekend's not been utterly wasted. Unlike me yesterday evening...

Yes, I picked up that tip a while back, although not from that video. They're actually pretty easy to put on, provided your hands don't suffer from anything that weakens them. Removing them is a bit tricky without tyre levers, though.
