Not been in it now for a year, due to hubby working too hard. Last year we drove from Fife to Wales in one day. It also rained every day for two weeks xx(

Nowt wrong with mangey old vans, still the same fun;)

If you ever visit Scotland give me a shout, would be nice to meet up. Scotland is beautiful

Will do

I wonder if it was the same two weeks when we went? It was around August 8th (I think) as I'm sure I had my Birthday when we were away.
We spent the first week in Snowdonia where it rained hard every single day, was freezing cold, and the awning nearly got ripped off by the wind and then went to Mid Wales for the next week where it rained every single day, the awning nearly got ripped off by the wind and if it wasn't for having a 4X4 we'd have never got out of the field we were in because it was waterlogged

Much as I love Wales, we won't be 'vaning there again for a while . We're back there over Christmas for two weeks but that's in a stone cottage with a log fire xx(

Anyway, have great time, maybe next year we'll get to Scotland by having a couple of overnight stopovers.

Sorry not the answer....... cover oily bits up in old sheet.....

Would tend to agree, I keep my bike in the bedroom. Don't see any issues with that... Only ride I get in there... (there, thought I'd say it before someone else did!)

My bike is a bit of a bugbear in the house now as my house now has dust  and the minute I talk bikes he becomes deaf:wacko:

At least hubby agreeing to put a rack on the van next year is a start.

It just means, I need to hire one and get my running gear out again

16 sleeps away from my lovely bike is not long? is is?

Yes it is

Aye but while you've been away, we've all been doing 100km/m rides, up and over amazing hills and generally getting so fit that a CC LEJoG world record is on the cards

Hope you enjoy the rest of your hols
