I am planning my 1st Solo Bicycle Touring Trip


My 1st Solo Bicycle Touring Trip is on the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route on 6-2019 from
Portland, Oregon to San Diego, CA. and I am doing slow and easy on my Bike Touring Trip.
and I am planning to ride 30 miles a day to 50 miles a day on my way south on the
Pacific Coast Bicycle Route.

That's roughly the same distance as our Lands End to John O' Groats trip, a classic tour in the UK which enthused me to cycle further on subsequent tours. I hope your first tour enthuses you similarly:okay:.
Sorry I can't offer any specific advice never having cycled in the USA, but I would say don't overplan it, be flexible and enjoy:smile:.

I cycled Vancouver Island to San Francisco on the coastal route. Great trip, but the unexpected delight was the NW tail wind all the way. As this the prevailing wind for this part of the world I hope you also enjoy it.
