There are many sources of Darkside power </nerd>Recumbents?
"Light black" "Grey is to black as pink is to red"Isn't Grey the most boring shade of black?
Durano Plus go on for ever IME, so lifetime operating costs could outweigh the initial expense. I don't think I've had a puncture in mine yet and the rubber is starting to get a bit thin. It'll probably need some new 28mm rubber. Want something swiftish, thinking Durano plus or vittoria Rubino for a cheaper option. Don't like marathon plus, too slow and heavy
How long have you been running them? I get ~6000km on rubinos, then they are done (as @topcat1 and @ianrauk can assert with my multiple punctures on my last FNRttC with 3 punctures between 6300 and 6400km but none before that)Durano Plus go on for ever IME, so lifetime operating costs could outweigh the initial expense. I think so, but I don't do much measuring really. I've got the 25mm version on my fixer and my Mercian and they seem fine. Downhill freewheeling I seem to hold my own or gain on other people (although Galileo aside, that might be due to the rider+bike mass)I've got some Evans vouchers and can get for 23.50 hopefully on a price match. Do they roll well?
