When I used to be into football, it was Ferguson for me. Knowing him I would guess that he declined an interview with Sky today the big baby. He stopped speaking to the BBC years ago, talk about a sore loser lol.

He spoke to the beeb after the game yesterday and I though he was reasonable (unlike Mourinho after real madrid and barca last year )

A one off freak result.Watch out Aldershot this week.Carling Cup.Leeds once got thrashed by West Ham Utd i ask you.
True supporters take it all in their stride.Man City will not be a force in future years. If they win the title this year Mancini's agents will get him to Spain and a top Spanish club. And so will some of the stars of this club.
I am not a Man Utd fan.
Man City will not have the steam to continue their journey to a really big club.

I never cared much for Man U, but gloating when they have just been thrashed by a "team" put together by an oil billionaire seems an odd position to take.

I feel like I could... TAKE ON THE WORLD!!
I think some people are thinking about this too deeply, its part of the banter, not a deeply held belief.

I think you may be being a tad disingenuous there inertia. Banter, absolutely, but whilst it may not be deeply held belief for many I do think football rivalries and hatreds most definitely exist.

My only caveat is that I don't, if I'm honest, really get aspects of English humour. Particularly the cynical stuff that seems to take pleasure in failure and misfortune. I do find that both confusing and unsettling.

Yes. Just heard it on the radio. Doesn't surprise me. They've spent a lot and haven't been getting the results. Saddens me that that's the name of the game these days. Managers know they're only as good as the last 10 results these days but I don't like this new paradigm.

Aaah, you mean the English trait of schadenfreude.

I'm not interested in soccerball, but for some reason I love it when United get a good kicking.
