Always been well beaten in the Dad's races. 50m sprint is too short, I need at least 800m. Would be funny to do a two laps of the field race, as all those fat dads that beat me over 50m would give up !

Ha ha..... I alway bring up the rear! I did ask for a head start since I nearly snuffed it in December, but was merely laughed at!
Two years ago my sons team lost by 2 points and he blamed me as I'd not won the Mum's race! I think his Dad had a word with him, cos he gave me a big smile and a thumbs up today, think I was either 2nd or 3rd last!

First year I did it, I'd got my SPD shoes on, so was really slow trying to sprint in solid soled shoes. One of the dad's said 'I thought you'd be fast' - I blamed it on the shoes... 
The next year I had trainers on, just in case. I was still slow

No chance, It was an obsticle race. The lane discipline was terrible, I had to use three differnt lanes! The other competitors should probably have all been disqualified TBH!

I thought it was a bit mean they wouldn't let me ask Jess Ennis to be on our team, she looked quite interested.
