I didn't like it !!!

show a road i hadn't been down before, so off i went, it ended with a dirt track through the woods. I knew the woods and thought no problem but it got real scary with bike sliding all over the place. Might have been ok if i had been wearing long trousers and top, but in shorts and T shirt i didn't fancy coming off !! How those mountain bikers do it ( yet i used to race a BMX cruiser)

I scared myself going down a big hill the other day: had to stop to give my heart time to slow down

I get really nervous at anything approaching speed if I'm off road, and convince myself I'll fall off ( I probably will!)
Yet I'll happily hurtle down a tarmac hill.
