Looking at 'Richard' there, her hen pecked husband Drago, when it was on tv on Sunday evenings in the mid 1990's I used to think 'Heck, I hope I don't end up wearing stuff like he does'! Thirty years on I'm the spitting image!

Where can you buy clothes like that these days?

Marks & Spencer maybe. 🤔 Places like this as well....... https://brickvintage.com/brand/dunn-co/ Then many quaint old market towns usually have a gents outfitters selling such stuff. Near to me Clitheroe had such a shop up till about 5 years ago, but the Covid lockdown affected it badly, with it closing down after a few weeks after reopening. I remember the shop's owner putting boxes of clothes hangers outside his shop with 'please help yourselves' notices on the boxes. I asked him if I could take some, with him offering me a whole box of them, saying hardly anyone has taken any hangers as no one seems to wear clothes you'd carefully hang up these days!

Clarksons in York is a nice traditional Gents outfitters. Browns of York and Helmsley have a reasonable range of Mens clothing. Also there is the designer outlet on the A64. There are others in the area and I’m led to believe Leeds has a reasonable choice.
Not on your doorstep given you are in the Scottish Borders Vin but a day cycling on the NY moors or the Wolds and a day shopping would make a good weekend.

My wife was a chef on the catering team for this programme (as well as several other famous series), and remembers that house well.

In the "tortoise" episode, she had to feed the tortoise strawberries, to keep him awake ready for the scene where he is "white lined".
Victor Meldrew's house is for sale.

I'm grumpy enough these days to do it justice. Maybe Accy could relocate there to renew his pavement/disabled darling campaign?
