As someone who appreciates specialized bikes you might like the Tarmac, Epic29r, Sirrus as much as the Venge

I do like an epic 29er! If I had the space that would be my next bike, especially after spesh cam to my town to lend me one!

I've put the first 53 miles on the new wheels this morning, and they’re lovely. The old wheels must have been very tired, the bike feels like it did when I first had it.

Damn, only just looked at this thread, I would have guessed garden gnomes wheels but then I had some insider knowledge as I seem to recall you mentioning they were about due a change, look forward to seeing them in the new year.

If someone fancies trying any of my kit, I'm quite happy to let them do so... if they wanted to borrow it for a period of time we would have to discuss it further.

If you are ever thinking of selling the 202's [at a knock down price ] or feel like lending them to someone for a hill climb, baggsy first dibs. My better half currently doesn't have good wheels for the steeper stuff just some older 404's and having just forked out for an expensive road/hill climbing bike the 202's are probably next on the wish list. Shame you are in London.

The 202's are the latest addition and are the newly released Firecrest profile versions, I've not even ridden them yet myself and I brought them for steep stuff also, I'm really looking forward to getting out on them in the new year. I'm actually building a hill climb bike at the moment.
I can let you know my thoughts on the 202's if your interested, alternatively if you see me around the races feel free to blag a test from me.. lol

Well if you are aiming to do some hill climbs you must be heading north then  in which case our paths will cross.
Apologies for hijacking your thread Dave.
