I had to get the trains to work today. What a grim experience on such a beautiful sunny day. It reminds me that I am so lucky to be able to cycle to work every day.

That's no where near enough.
You need to stretch it to an hour during sunny days at least

I used to have a 10 minute commute home. then the nice weather came and it seems to have moved to nearly an hour.

He's in the Netherlands, I bet the trains are fractionally better ...maybe.

Anyway, where I live, the trains are often perfectly fine when I have to go to Glasgow, etc.

The train home is often going to Antwerp and Brussels I can think of worse places to wake up!

Alas my cycle commuting is coming to an end. We have moved offices and the high-speed service from North Kent brings me in 10 minutes walk from the new office, meaning my overall commute will be about an hour, door-to-door. This simply fits much better with current life commitments than any multi-modal commute option, so I shall be putting the bikes back in the cellar.

Expect to see me in Fitness and Health in a few months, moaning about my weight.
