.....you get 2 emails from financial organisations. 1 organisation saying that since you are a long term customer who has been very careful with his finance (pffffftt), they are increasing my credit limit.

The second giving me a similar story but this time telling me I've been offered 14 months interest free on balance transfers.

Just when I'm in e market for a new steed How dare they???

It's only interest free if you make no purchases during the payback. Even if you pay off your monthly purchases in full each month, they will have incurred charges from the moment of purchase until they are paid off in full.

It's a clever sleight of hand.

F85. I'd tried a few different bikes but the feel of the frame blew me away.

Vern, the card is already cut up. It'll be paid off on November pay day and there won't be any more spending on it.
