All my kit is dirty, I am dirty, bike is filthy and requires a clean, all the bits have grit in them,

I hate the rain, really hate it, I wish it never rained again.

Desalination is the way forward.

Sold my car so I wouldn't be tempted to use it in such circumstances! It's fine if you have shower facilities at work, but a real pain if you don't

Skies have just opened, like a tropical monsoon, torrential, although not quite as warm. Just as you thought the rain couldn't get any harder it does, doubly harder. Awesome. Not awesome if you are cycling though as I suspect you were. Still look on the bright side, it will hopefully be dry and fresh tomorrow.

Is it a carbon frame ?you know they melt in rain , best to just buy a turbo and pedal away in the garage just in case your bike gets wet again .......
