I remember the soddin' Bessel functions too.... back in my maths days. The only thing I learned from them was - explained how the kettledrums in the orchestra were always out of tune...

My Mum used to clean up using a forerunner of this function, by using a Bix Bessel Carpet Sweeper. I suggested she stick to Bix Biederbecke and learn to spell.
