Order it. Put it in the lounge. When she gets annoyed at it, feign surprise saying its always been there, you've had it for years. Feign upset and storm off if she questions this, saying you can't believe how little attention she pays to your interests and feelings.

That's a popular myth. I thought that I'd got away with a Flying Gate colour matched to my Dave Yates Randonneur (bright orange) but it was spotted.
I didn't even try with my Woodrup Chimera. It's so beautiful, it has permission to live in the house.
