There are no excuses for someone who has a 'fair weather' bike.:sad:

Until the recent bout of bad stuff on the roads I cleaned my blue bike twice a day, once on arriving at work and then the return.
Since it has been covered in Essex debris I have maltreated it - save for the quick once over.:biggrin:

Oi..the commuter is nearly as good as these two...easy....oily rag - aka..big t-shirts that don't fit cos you aren't as 'plump' as you used to be !!!
 
Sorry fossy - when I read what I wrote I knew it would be misunderstood.:smile:
What I meant was, there is no excuse for not having a clean machine if it is a fair weather bike - not implying that you only get yer bikes out when it's 20C or above...:laugh:
A commuter is bound to be dirty at times.
<Takes off pyjamas and starts cleaning crud from frame, wheels, brakes etc...>:smile:
