Sounds like a great business opportunity, get hold of a load of random mobile numbers, send texts to them at £5 a time, even if every recipient is sufficiently aware to block you after the first one you still make £5k out of each 1000 numbers. Better than that, charge £50 a time and set a send frequency of once a second, that way you will have sent them hundreds before they can block you.
Is it really that simple ?

No.

Contact your mobile company(service provider) and tell them you want to be removed from all such lists.

Otherwise they'll continue to give your number out to "selected third parties".

Odd in a way that one bank is now telling you to be careful over intercepted messages though.

From memory nothing more simple than texting "stop" , i dont think you can block it as it didnt show a number
Yes.............that is all you have to do AND I have done it now.
My problem was they were going into my spam folder so I didn't know I was getting them.

Out of interest what phone do you have as I've also never heard of a spam filter for text messages ?

I hadn't heard of one either, I've now had a look at my phone, Samsung J1 (2016), and it has one.

You've paid, text STOP, to validate that the number is live?
