For those who are interested, rehearsals are going well! It is going to be a stunning show ad whether by good luck or otherwise, my roles is one of the best and very visible to the millions watching

Hello chaps and well done for getting in. I auditioned but didn't get in, and I'm wondering if I met one of you during the audition back in March - I was number 5 and there was a guy from Manchester in my group, if it is you, well done mate.

Also, I know you are all sworn to secrecy on details, but could you tell me how many people are involved in the cycling bit? I want to know if I was ever in with a chance, or none at all

The chap from Manchester was probably one who has had to drop our for personal reasons. There a couple of hundred of cyclists at a guess. Four groups each with a different role and fortunately i think mine is the best. I thhink the March 3rd audition (good upper body strength!) was about 150 originally and we have in theory 70 in the group)

Just go back from first rehearsal in the stadium and VERY VERY impressed

Thanks Jay, much appreciated, so it was about a 50/50 chance, gutted not to have got in, I shall be watching in envy.

btw, one last thing (again, only if you can share) - was there an obvious common acceptance criteria in your group?

Not sure. I feel it was more a) luck/randomness, and b) weeding out the people who had turned up with a rusty bike from the shed and could not do basic smooth handling etc. Having said that there were a couple of less able cyclists who did get through, but the last couple of rehearsals everyone has coped fine. No-one has fallen off yet either!
