Update on Cindy's sudden weight loss... Her blood test are normal. The real culprit appears to be that my parents are on a diet, so Cindy is getting less treats than normal!!

We are careful about her weight because of her back leg, so its not as if she was overweight to begin with or anything, hence the blood test!

Glad to hear others sleep that way. Thought she might just be daft! The bed is big enough for her if she slept curled up but not in the sieg heil position. Have order another one but ordered a XL one. Hopefully that will be large enough for when she is an adult.....hopefully.

Now a simple question what do you feed your dog? Presently I am feeding Wagg working dog bought from and delivered by Saintsbury's. It said on the site it was 20% beef. I have read the ingredients list and they were telling whoppers. 20% of the protein is beef, the rest is vegetable protein. What I reading on a lot of blogs is your better of buying ones with at least 20% meat and paying double, as the dog will eat half as much. Probably an exaggeration but all the same I just don't appear to be able to satisfy her appetite on this food. She walked (ran) for about 4 hours yesterday and I think I fed her 5 times and she eat it all and clearly could have eaten more.
PS it appears they charge VAT on dog food except for working dogs? No VAT on food marked for working dogs?

She is growling at the bone, why? Cooked for at least 5 hours.

You should never give a dog a cooked bone, they can splinter and choke the dog.

She disagrees! Anyway the ones you buy in petshops are all cooked bones.
There is no way she is going to splinter that bone!!
