Sorry crap Iphone pic on its maiden pub run

Really enjoying its feel and response, very different from my cube. Also treated myself to some new shoes, shimano r088 and as the pics shows I put some m520 pedals on.

Should I stick with the given tires or put some gator skins on that I have from bargain shopping....
Proper ride, 60miles plus tomorrow, so better fit bottles cages

That looks like the defy one. I bought mine about 5 weeks ago and bought slime inner tubes and replacement tyres straight away thinking i'd change them both as soon as i got a puncture in either. 400 miles or so later i still have the originals on, no problems with them at all except i've had to top up the air occasionally.

Not really had a chance with this awful weather to really test the saddle. Its the Defy 1, weathers given good for Monday so will try to get out then. Really need to put some miles down before Manchester on the 30th for the Great Cycle

I have a Defy 2 and I got shut of the tyres that were on the bike PDQ as I was forever getting punctures as the rubber seemed so soft. Since changing, I do not spend nearly so much time on the side of the road fixing holes. Obviously I have now put the kiss of death on my next ride!
