Well , open topped tubs to be honest .
In my bin to be collected every two weeks i can put human shoot and plastic bags .
Everything else has to go in open topped tubs ....... bring on the vermin fest !

I just go in my van, no one seems to mind despite the signage.
Lucky you , i get weighed in and weighed out . No council tax form for ID then you get turned away or pay £40 min charge for trade waste .

Our boys seem a bit more flexible. If it's trade waste you are paying for it but if it's obviously household rubbish it doesn't seem to matter much to them which vehicle brought it.

We've had bins that are locked by the handles for years, which I think replaced an ill-advised deployment of open-topped boxes had the predictable result of waste strewn across the streets. Decades ago, rural South Northamptonshire was using boxes with lids to discourage the vermin. What brand of drugs is your local council's environment councillor or committee on?

Might need to drop them in a wee thank you next time I'm passing.
Don't wee on them ;)

Cleaning up fly-tips is a recurring nuisance for pretty much every farmer and parish council in Somerset, so I'm pretty disappointed to read that. I hope karma prevails and your drive gets blocked by a flytipped fridge.

I will try not to.^_^

I think fly tipping is an issue UK wide. Despite my proximity to the local amenity site, I cycled past a church drive on the way to work the other morning to see what looked like an old caravan or something of a similar ilk blocking their entrance road.

46 quid today to dump some rubbish from a few jobs at Space Waye, I have paid close on £200 for a van full.
Still, weighed in some scrap for over £200.
