As far as I can see he has enough money to be paying an expensive lawyer to come up with silly reasons. Why does he have to have his job to pay damages ...doesn't his insurance do that for him?

I think his job is handling damages payouts, like for insurance etc. Thats what I took from the article.

Quite possibly you're correct. The article was a little unclear. Sometimes the press report as one when they mean the other
