It's brighter,it's lighter,it's sunnier.I feel as though the dark moods of November to now have lifted.I hope you all feel a bit better too.
I hope everyone is ok.

Thanks, Postman!
Sun is shining here and it's 13 degrees - lovely.
Just cleaned my hybrid ready for a long ride tomorrow (I bet it pisses down!).

Daffodils do it for me. When I see them waving at me in their sunny yellow splendidness I never fail to smile.
That and the fact they were always my dear old Nan's favourite flowers always washes away my winter blues

Snowdrops for me .... and they pop out even earlier
Ooh - and daft things like going for a walk at 4am and hearing the songbirds singing their little bollo* off. How can a 2 inch scrap of bone and skin make so much sound - and be so joyful with it. At THAT time in the morning!

I'm still feeling a bit off with shingles but then I turn round from my computer to admire the view and my spirits soar.

Heard a cuckoo yesterday. That's a good sign altho' it did sound a bit hesitant at first.
