So, you started a thread just to argue with a few people, and wind them up, and two of them haven't turned up.

I reckon that is about the most pointless thing I've ever heard, and I've read a lot of stuff by simoncc.

Not really Arch,i had a good idea that because of their attitude to me,that if i started a thread that has all sorts of ways of going like the troll thread,the ones who have been name calling because an argument didnt go the way they wanted would have a go at me,in the sense that they take particular effort to try to annoy,and look who the first post came from,also the asking of irrelavant or obvious questions from his friend,straight away they dived in and tried to turn a simple question into an attack,so no it wasnt pointless,it showed me their real motives,now i know,so no it wasnt pointless to me,i agree it may seem it to you,but you were not trying to confirm something.

It was meant as a bit of fun,i thought it would be fun to see if i was right about how it seemed to me,i was,whats the problem with that?Or do you have other motives for saying these things?

I do feel it was kind of ironic, the people that came in to accuse people of being trolls ended up just writing a load of bollox. That was no way backed up with logical argument and was full of holes.

He did get annoyed though didnt he?,it showed to what lengths some will go to try and be agreed with.Now if i had apologised to him,he wasnt going to get a friend to delete,but as i didnt it just made him more angry.I wouldnt normally be so aggressive in my argument style,but because of some of the things some have said or tried to imply i wont let them get the upper hand,and it shows how seriously they take things,or does some of it hit a sore spot? i wonder?

I think they take themselves a wee bit to seriously.

Probably right there,its a forum for opinions and debate,if some one dissagrees with someone else the debate goes on,so what?Thats what its about isnt it?If someone gets uppity ill react the same back,just as if i got uppity with someone,i would expect as much in return.
