I'm a ludite and use whatever is installed on the equipment when it arrives.

I wouldnt have a clue how to go about changing; I guess 90% of the population do the same which is why IE is still so popular.

I don't mean on bikes, I mean Google's new browser. I put off trying it for a long time, not least 'cos it doesn't have an old-style toolbar along the top [File...Edit...Tool, all that], but after I reinstalled Windows recently I decided I'd give it a go, and now I'm a believer. Less clutter, more screen, good functionality and I'm even finding it pretty intuitive. And it's probably my fevered imagination, but it does at least feel like it's faster. Anyone like/dislike it/any other browser?
How about all of the above & more?! Right now across 3 machines I have FF (domestic & ESR), Konqueror, MSIE (7, don't ask, & 10), Opera, Safari & Chrome... and that isn't the full set I have available to me.

After coming across yet another thread talking about those your-you're their-they're-there type confusions I went and googled ''homonym checker'' yesterday and learnt that Chrome now had one as an add-on. I haven't gone looking for it so I can't say whether it's any good but it could be useful for tidying up your language.

I have IE/Chrome/FF and sometimes others installed. I tend to use Internet Explorer for pretty much everything though. Like everything IT related some will argue one thing is better than another, but I think it depends how you use them and what sites you visit.

I'm not sure if people will take it as a good or a bad thing, but when I reinstalled Windows 8 this week (after SSD failure) my Windows account remembered all my IE browser history, favourites and logins - very convenient but not entirely reassuring ;)

Yes, your right, that would tidy up you're language considerably, provided those who wrote the plugin are sufficiently literate in English.

Chrome all the time on desktop, laptop and tablet. Occasionally get a bit narked seeing the "this plug in is not supported" message so just switch to IE when that happens. My work pc is still on XP and IE is almost unusable on it.

I tried Firefox when it was the fad browser, and found I needed to still use IE for certain websites
I've tried Chrome as it's the new fad browser and still have to revert to IE for certain websites
However with IE, I've never had call to use another browser because it does everything.

Currently using IE10 with Google toolbar.. Ironically Google toolbar is the one thing I really missed when I was trying Chrome
