I am totally aware of the lack of nutritional value and the crappy ingredients that make up a pot noodle, but sometimes you just want one!
I only ever eat the chicken and mushroom ones and it's usually when I'm at work. I had one last month and it was spanking gorgeous!

Who'd have thought Pot Noodles would be at the centre of a dispute between two of our biggest companies?

I'm resisting panic buying, not least because ASDA had plenty today.

A couple of chilli beefs for me, following a recommendation in this thread.

Chilli beef are without doubt the best of the ones I've tried so far, still got a few to go though.

Anyway panic over, Tesco have come to an agreement I'm told ^_^

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Chilli beef are without doubt the best of the ones I've tried so far,
Ingredients:
As prepared. Noodles: Noodles (52%) [WHEAT flour, palm fat, salt, firming agents (potassium carbonate, sodium carbonate)]. Sauce and Vegetables: Water, vegetables (6.7%) [tomato, sweetcorn, tomato powder, onion powder, garlic powder], maltodextrin, WHEAT flour, yeast extract, flavour enhancers (monosodium glutamate, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate), sugar, flavourings, salt, palm fat, hydrolysed vegetable protein (SOYA), acid (citric acid), soy sauce (SOYBEANS, WHEAT), cayenne pepper (0.1%). Sachet: Chilli sauce (1.3%) [water, spirit vinegar, modified corn starch, salt, cumin, cayenne pepper, flavourings]. May contain milk, egg, celery and mustard.
So that's no beef at all, and almost no chilli at all.

Nice!

Opened a chicken and mushroom pot noodle last week. It had been in my desk draw since before my accident. I can say that it smelt like cardboard as it was a year out of date. Shame I really wanted it.
We used to have it with chips and brown bread and butter on Saturday after Catweazel. Any Italian would have done his nut!
I bet it tasted good though!:hungry: On about Italian's,when i was first dating Mrs Accy many years ago, we went to an Italian restaurant. I wanted some more of that ciabatta bread, so i asked the waiter for some more. He came back, apologised and said they didn't have anymore so he offered us half a loaf of Warburton's instead.

Last time I ate a Vesta Risotto (many many years back!), my body managed to absorb all the water out of it and then I ended up bringing up dry lumps of solid risotto.

I don't think it was the meal that was the underlying problem but even now I couldn't face another one..
