We just spent the weekend in Cardiff and we loved everything about it: the restaurants, the architecture, the people, the Millennium Stadium. We were very impressed with the liveliness of the city. It is vibrant, cheerful, easy to walk everywhere. We had a tour of the Millennium Stadium this morning and what an wonderful experience that was! I want to go back there when Wales play Ireland in the 6 nations next year and Wales / France in 2018. I saw a few cyclists and had a chat with a young lady waiting to go on a 100 kms ride with friends.
My wife and I have just had a truly wonderful weekend.Thank you Cardiff.

Ooooh, the 'Phonics in Cardiff ....

Went a good few years back to see Stereophonics headlining the Millennium Stadium with Ocean Colour Scene & Feeder supporting, brilliant gig.

The accommodation was an entirely different & story & a lesson learned.

Nice sitting in the pub with the Cardiff Castle overlooking.

It is a brilliant city. I've been there on a cricket tour and also a weekend for the rugby World Cup. Both really enjoyable, vibrant place with loads going on and felt very relaxed.

I am very much a country bumpkin but I do like Cardiff. Well, not the bit where I used to live. But the city centre and the posh/old bits are excellent. My street was more excrement.
Where did you live.... My sister used to live in Splot!:giggle: I loved the sound of the name!
