Excellent, if it snows! And (to those who mentioned it, not FM) out of interest, what's so good about Egyptian cotton as compared to any other cotton?

Good Eygyptian cotton has extra long smooth fibres, so it can be spun into finer yarn.

I never realised how bloody expensive a good mattress was until we bought our last one. It was a flippin' fortune even half price.

Never ever buy one from that 'Dreams' shop - complete rip-off prices.

Others swear by memory foam, while some claim that they are horrible and make you sweat.

I swear by my memory foam topper, my mattress used to be like sleeping on a mini version of the Giant's Causeway, you could feel every spring.

Well, a waterbed at home and the best thing ever. Though at the moment Mrs.Pm has it to herself as I am at work, on a ship, and am therefore sleeping on a bed that is above water.
Just wish the bloody ship would stay still so I could get a decent nights kip.

Vi spring vi spring vi spring. + silk + feather duvet and linen from the whitecompany. It's like sleeping on fluffy clouds. I did however sleep on a cheap foam mattress on the floor for a month before so the competition wasn't stiff, or rather it was.

Yep, definitely no going back! I've always been a believer in decent-quality mattresses, but memory-foam is a whole other level of comfort. :-)
