I once scored thirteen points on the specialist knowledge section of Mastermind beating the competitor answering questions on 'The Railways of Britain, Post Grouping to Nationalisation (1923-1948)'.

I used to be a nerd but I recovered when I discovered the usual distractions.

My sister is a moose...

(If I had a sister that is).

This thread reminds me of the one a few years back of the 15 year old who posted that he thought the TdF looked easy and that he wanted to compete in it... and he was serious..

Well its nobut cycling for a couple of hours a day for a couple of weeks, and you get full back up at that. Eck even the crowd run up the hills faster alongside the riders, what can be hard about it??

I have to work with a Total Wipeout successful candidate and with several other successful games how participants - one of them has been on thirty six game shows and has cleared £25k in prize money. Their self proclaimed quirkiness and extrovert nature is entertaining for the first ten minutes.......

I'm trying to plan the perfect, clueless, multiple murder.

Perhaps we could set up a Murder Weekend Reality TV show, might as well get paid to off the twunts. I have a couple of applicants in mind too

I once auditioned for the first series of Eggheads. We won the mock game by a country mile, but weren't invited back for the real show. I like to think it was because we were too good, but in truth I think we were rather dull.

Hmmmm...
The thing is that I am not one of these twunts who have an over obsessive personality, so unless I go over the top with something either cycling or college related, I havent got much of a chance.

I could go running around pretending that I am on a miniture bike all the time? Or I could go around surveying every building and fill in a dilapidations report on it? (I am studying construction)

But dont they give you a nickname on the programme? What would mine be?
Matt the mad cyclist? The mad Matter?

CyclingSAM was his name. He didn't see the gulf between his 13-15mph average speed and the 26mph average of his local chain gang on the local race track as being a barrier to success. I looked up his postes and profile. He hasn't posted since 2009. I wonder how he's getting on.....

Cav was once a 15 year old who wanted to compete in TdF and was serious... admittedly he was a 15 year old faster than most 20-30 year olds, but that's beside the point.
