Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Why daft? That's part of training. Once you've done it 15+ times on a ride then you might consider it daft.

I did 5x up a particularly savage hill a while back then 3x up a slightly less savage hill. I did it ok but think I strained my back with all the out of saddle effort that I wasn't used to, so take it easy and build up to repeats.

Going back down the hill was fun.....

I did a sharpish ramp on the C2C over a buried railway bridge a couple of times on my push bike.

Nothing like what some of you fellas do, but while I was recovering with a small cigar at the top I did see a couple of cyclists push up the last bit.

I think the builder in the village thought i was mad going up and down

Of course it's mad. But if you actually want to get better at going up hills as fast as possible, proper Hill Reps are the best way

There are a zillion hills around here so every ride feels like a rep session. But every now and the I'll put myself through the wringer and do a proper set
