There I was having just put my dog in my car after we'd been to the usual chip shop for fish, mushy peas with a blob of mayonnaise when I heard a screeching tyres sound coming my way, followed by the sight of a VW Golf doing what must've been 50mph in a 30mph zone! I stood still hoping the car wasn't going to skid or roll, with it passing me by about 2 feet with the car's open window allowing me to see the face of the driver, followed a few seconds later by a police car in hot pursuit! The driver of the Golf then drove the wrong way down a one way street, with thankfully no vehicles at the time approaching this car head on! About 30 seconds later another two police cars came down the same road with me waving frantically to indicate the direction of the incident. Then after about a minute I saw what looked like a copper with a sidearm on his hip running towards the direction of the pursuit.The incident was mentioned later on the Hyndburn/Accrington Facebook page below, for those who can access it.

What the actual feck?? That is outrageous. Mayonnaise with mushy peas? you want locking up
