I need people to ride with

I've been 'bent for five years now. I have never ridden with another recumbent.

Anyone live near Bristol? Or failing that are there any recumbent meets anywhere up and down the country where laidback folk take over the roads?

Geography renders my knowledge a little London centric, but as I understand it there are iHPVA and BHPC (british human power club) events that tend to attract the laid back crew around the country. At a push, you could also check out the pedal car racing clubs.

Bikefix / Burrows have been known to organise recumbent only rides around London.

If you're happy to mix with the @rse hatchets, the FNRttC normally has a couple of 'bents on.

BHPC are only races unless they are trying to up their membership when they run a few social rides in the year. Their last one at York Rally a couple of years back was too fast for me!
