£359 coincidentally is the cost of a 16gb ipad refurbished. iPads aren't cheap, mortgage your children to cover the cost or buy an android tablet instead

Sorry, I can't understand your reply.

It's worth keeping a eye on Tesco's Ebay shop where they sell refurbished iPads at up to 25% off the new cost. They come with a one year warranty and the one I bought was indistinguishable from new.

The well over used claim of the apple collective is that apple products keep their value so you won't get much saving buying second hand. See the Apple ipad refurb store . That link should give the ipad 3s and as noted it's £359 from them. Anything lower on fleabay seems to be US with significant p&p costs
