Consisting of 4 rounds of buttered toast, sausage, bacon, egg, black pudding, tomatoes, beans and a good lashing of HP sauce.

All for £2.50

Why is it stuff that's bad for us tastes nicer than stuff that's good for us?

I can't eat food like that regularly, but I've promised myself that when I finally finish work (as in retire), on my last commute I'm going to stop and have a proper full English fried breakfast at the place that I pass each morning. The smell makes me hungry every time I go past, even though I've only had breakfast (cerials admittedly) about an hour before.

Isn't it something to do with craving fat and sugar to give us energy - the only problem is that our lives no longer need the energy our bodies think they do....

I went for a long and snowy walk in the woods and then had eggs with mushrooms and fried bread (haven't had that for a long time) and good hot coffee. Damn!
