I skip showering on some days

My sister used to have a shower first thing, another at lunchtime (she came home for lunch from school and later work) then a shower as soon as she got in the door, another if she was going out and another before bed.
She stank! Absolutely honked. She had this horrible waxy smell about her. In the end, my Mother couldn't stand to be in the same room as her and carted her off to the GP and warned him to put a peg on his nose. She actually said that, I heard the phone call.
Turns out, she had been over washing. NSS! She was told not to wash for 3 or 4 days and then to only have a shower every other day for a month or so, while her skin found it's natural balance again. She was allowed a light strip wash but no harsh soaps/gels etc, only water.
Sorted her right out.

I'm sick of washing. Two showers a day for three months is just boring the crap out of me.

I'm not pretending I don't need it though. I'm down to one a day at the moment.

Luckily my wife likes the "smell of man".

I had a bath and shower yesterday. Terrible itchy skin since coming out of hospital. The bath had Epsom salts and muscle soak in.

My father in law had to be shoved into the bath.

Maybe you should've got out first.

A bath, eh? Next time I have time for a bath I'll be retired I reckon.

Maybe I'll make it a special treat for my birthday. We've got twelve years stock of "Lush" products I buy my wife periodically I could probably dip into.

I hate baths. Always shower every day. I'll try anything to get rid of the itch skin.

I generally only shower after vigorous exercise. Since I don't exercise every day, I don't shower every day. I just wash my armpits and face. If after a few days I start to feel itchy, I would probably shower then.

I found the cure for the dry skin that I had for about 8 years. I gave up dairy in all forms 8 weeks ago, and I have not had dry skin for the last 7 weeks.
Same here. I've had a very nasty patch of discoid eczema on my right shin for about 8 years. Gave up diary in November and its noticeably better.

I had been thinking it might be Dairy (itchy skin), as I have been getting through a lot more milk than usual. I'm a big drinker of milk, but I've knocked down a couple of pints a night recently... of MILK.

Better stick to beer ?

You need the milk for the calcium for your bones and actually you should be on a high protein diet for healing and repair.
