She's terrific - and funny. She can come across as the eccentric, scatty old woman but I think that's a front; she's a very sharp and perceptive woman.
I particularly love how she says what she's thinking, with none of it tempered for the listener.

I'm just watching 'The Real Marigold on Tour'* and every time Miriam opens her mouth I like her more and more. I now have a role model and do wonder, given how alike we are personality wise, whether we might be related.

This week they're in America - and this was filmed not long before the Presidential election... it's a corker.



*I know, I know - reality TV. But I saw the original series and this one is shaping up to be just as good.
