Idiot in an Escort cabriolet (I thought they were girls cars) passed me close.  I shouted out and called him a name or two.  He braked and I pulled up by his passenger window and asked him to give me more room next time.  He said I was too far out

(about 3 feet) so I said I was where I should be.

He then said I shouldn't be giving it large when I was on a bike.  FK what he meant by that

Giving it large is slang for mouthing off.

Duh I know that.  It was the "when you are on a bike" that seemed a bit more threatening.

After the incident with the lunatic who took offence to Mikey's suggestion that he lose the phone I have tried to keep my mouth shut and not get involved with any sort of debate with drivers. Although when someone has recklessly put my life at risk I'm afraid that my better judgement has gone out of the window....... BUT I'm working on it.
