Looked to me like he hit something on the verge before the actual bridge, some sort of concrete bollard/armco. By the time it hit the bridge, I think the car was in smaller, less damaging bits...
Looks like the Armco acted as a perfect ramp, shame the angle of the Armco wasn't steeper as he might have cleared the bridge !

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Between Tunbridge Wells and Crowborough, where I used to live, there is a stretch of dual carriageway which narrows into a bend. That was the location of what we called 'The Porsche Tree' on account of how many of said vehicles ended up high in its branches.
Reminds me of a local bit of road, the owner of a house regulary gets a car in his back garden....

Sgt Bob Patterson, of Suffolk Police, said: "At this early stage we could not speculate as to what has caused the crash."

Really Sgt Bob? I could, SPEED, and too freakin' much of it!
Actually it's quite easy to get a car semi-airborne at low speeds & when you get a car to 'float' it can go a long way. If the car went through that hedge at 20mph it would have been semi-airbourne when it made contact with the bonnet of the BMW sending it high & towards the garage. If there was drive to the wheels as the red Audi hit the BMW, which may be caused by the sudden deceleration of hitting the BMW*, the car would have been driven hard up into the garage roof. Coming off the roof it would have been directed into the house by the windscreen of the Audi estate, this impact could have caused drive to the wheels making the whole thing much more forceful than you'd expect.

* From experience of yumps when doing sprints & hill climbs a small 'impact', such as when the car meets the ground again, can cause you flooring the throttle due to the momentum of your leg/foot being independent of the car's chassis. You can hear this over & over on rally events during racing accidents; The driver lifts off, never gets their foot over to the brake pedal before they hit something & a sudden burst of acceleration.
