As a leaving present we bought one of the guys at work two birds in a cage, I can't remember what kind of birds they were. The look on his face was good, he had no idea what to do with them.

Another guy was given an envelope as he walked out of the door and told it was something to get a drink with later. The envelope contained two teabags! :0)
