I was bored so i sewed my overshoe

I was rained off work yesterday, i had little to do so i decided to stitch one of my ancient overshoes back together(again). It must have taken an hour to sew the hem that goes round the sole back to the main bit. I'll probably be doing the same later today with the other one seeing as it has to pee down all day. Am i being a tight wad, would you do it or buy new ones instead?

The overshoes are back in working order, and they were worn last night.

Sounds as if they were even more worn the night before!

But congratulations on a successful repair, I too like fixing things.

I bodged mine together with gaffa tape.... each bodge lasts 4 or 5 rides/walks to the coffee counter, I find.
