just looking back at some photos, during a reply to a message.I thought of my old pal ,Super Galaxy.
I wanted another bike and i thought i con't need three,ah well it went to a good home.
I liked my Dawes Galaxies but their predisposition to fracture the cast iron/steel drive side rear drop outs when I rode them altered my feelings towards them. I abandoned my last one in a park in Orleans when its drop out fractured and I purchased a brand new Decathlon hybrid rather than seek a repair. It owed me nothing. It was fifteen years old and was facing a major overhaul upon my return to the UK. The Decathlon bike was a cost effective solution as it was cheaper than a repair, frame respray and refurb.
