I'd love to tell you how great the Evans Fix it course is

Ages ago a colleague and I decided to book onto the Evans fixit course, we had to wait ages to get a place.

When we turned up for the 19.00 start last night (as displayed on their site and as we were told on booking), it turns out the chuffing thing started at 18.00. The bloke behind the counter wasn't arsed, the bloke running the course lied 'I tried to phone you both'; No you didn't mate. Worst of all the store manager just wanted us out of the shop, he said to one colleague 'just give them their tenners back' he took our numbers to call today, but guess what; no call. We met a lady there who had had the course, changed or cancelled THREE times at this store.

It's only a minor thing, but it smacks of complete contempt for the customer, and bluntly, Evans should stop running the course there as it's totally damaged my perception of the brand, and I vow never to shop there again.

Useless.

Strongly-worded letter time, I reckon.

Tell them you were let down, that it was poor customer service, that you thought Evans was a quality brand (...) and this has really let you down. Tell them you're considering telling your friends not to choose them because the service was really that bad. Send it to the complaints dept. at Head Office and see if they reply.

A lot of people wouldn't go through this "hassle", but it takes 15 mins and costs as much as a stamp. You might as well let them know they were terrible, otherwise they'll think they were great...

thanks for the note, email sent to you. I think it's good somebody at head office is taking note of these complaints as it's seriously bruised my loyalty.
