I carry army style dog tags and velcro ID bracelet both for walking and cycling, have done ever since they found the remains of a body after five years and it took another year to identifie it. Felt for the poor family.

Road ID for me and the kids, as well as ICE numbers in the phones and business cards on me and on the bike with 'Home' and 'Wife' numbers written on them.

I have my wallet with me probably about 50% of the time; it has my driving licence in it. The vast majority of the time I have my phone with me which has my parents mobile numbers on it. Whoever finds my corpse might not be able to identify it but at least they'll be able to ring my parents.

I wear a piece of laminated paper with contact details of wife and brother around my neck. Much cheaper than buying anything and easy to change.

So far I'm finding the problems associated with dealing with a company halfway round the world.
They're not held to the same standards/local laws... what do you do incase of dispute?
I'm starting to think I've coped without, upto now, lets put it down to a mildly expensive mistake.
Saying that, they could still surprise me.

I use OnelifeID.

It's a website that is linked to from a QR on the bracelet that carries your emergency contact details, medical information and social media links. The medical stuff can only be reached by entering a pin found on the back of the bracelet, so is secure. It also has an ICE number printed on it.

In case my phone is still working I have RIDEiD with on the lock screen. No need to unlock the phone to get ICE numbers or details.

I ordered a RoadID recently which I am very happy with and the customer service seems good. However, it ended up costing a lotmore than I expected as I had a customs import charge of a couple of quid and an almost ridiculous Royal Mail handling charge of over £10.

You may get lucky but I'd recommend one of the UK based companies to avoid this. From pictures I've seen they look almost identical in some instances anyway and around the same price.

Yet another thing for me to worry about not having:sad:
I don't have any ID with my address on anyway. If I had my purse on me then my cards all have my name on, and I have the "ICE" thing on my phone. Although I hadn't thought about the phone lock. I don't imagine it would take too long for somebody to unlock it if they needed to though.

I'm usually going somewhere (like college) so I always have my wallet on me which has my driving licence in. My organ donor card is in there too!
