I'm not so sure about that. It could well be some of the new kinds of tea that seem to be on the market nowaday. Stew for 5 days, throw it away, then start all over again with proper tea.

It does look like one, Geranium leaves often have quite a noticable smell.

If it's not a Pelargonium (I'm not convinced it is) it might well be a Heuchera.

Or, rather than asking us to guess, the OP can lift it out of its coffee cup and take a look at the label that's just visible on the photo...
