GrumpyGregry

Here for rides.
All that glisters is not gold; Often have you heard that told: Many a man his life hath sold But my outside to behold: Gilded tombs do worms enfold. Had you been as wise as bold, Young in limbs, in judgement old Your answer had not been inscroll'd Fare you well, your suit is cold.

My name isn't Greg, btw, but that is what people call me even if I tell them otherwise so I decided to roll with it many years ago.

I hide behind my internet name like Zorro and his cloak thingie.

In the big, wide world, I'm a Dick.

I would like to change my user name but it would confuse people.

I tend to prefer a 'pen name' on forums rather then my real name as it reduces the chances of nutters finding me online (as has happened) and then getting in touch stalking my every move and keystroke. It is also a good reason to have different 'pen names' to reduce cross forum tracking by the stalking nutter (you know it is you I am referring to! Get a life of your own!)

However, I am still my own self on the forums, unless stated otherwise.

Perhaps people would just remember the poster, from their avatar if the real name thing came to pass... I think it certainly plays a part.

I think it's just the real name usernames, with numbers as an identifier that I find easy to get confused by.
