Gonna suggest the same, hit his employer with some 'facts', I'm surprised he's got the brains to hold down a job, they must set the bar low in broadcasting ....

To be fair that is a cycle path which avoids the need to crest the hill where the pinch point is... you can't argue with that!

He seems to think that a national speed limit requires him to drive as close to it as he can at all times....

Sadly muppets are needed as some people out there may well agree with him and use his attitude (contrived or no) to condone their own actions.

That's the problem with this style of self-serving lazy, comment/feedback generating 'journalism'. It's polarising and generates only an 'us and them' resentment. By responding to him sensibly, highlighting his irresponsibility (and arguably illegality), you stand a chance of encouraging individuals to think for themselves.

The sign he points out is "Pedal Cycles Only" so it isn't a pavement and pedestrians should therefore walk in the road !

I've just posted "What a moron, you couldn't slow down for a few seconds you had to bomb on through. You need to take a good hard look at yourself and your dangerous driving. When you kill a cyclist will it be their fault for being on a road that they have more right to use than a car driver? Your right can be taken away. Theirs can't."

And as you probably know, the cyclist is under no obligation to use the cycle path. If they choose not to then the driver ought make allowances for that.
