Idiots Abroad

Up until the weekend I had always considered the driving on the contintent (driving culture) to be 110% better. At the weekend though, a couple of mates and I were doing a Sportive in Northern France and the route took us through a small village, where a car pulled out on us and then preceded to go slowly; we expected it to be and old person who'd made a genuine mistake but found out it was a pair of drunk chavs (neds) and they repeated the stunt to riders behind. Whether or not they understood it was reported to the marshal by my mate, my French only extends to Bon Jour and Merci
I'm not sure if its reassuring or not but its maybe good to see the French have their Chavs/Neds in suped up silver corsas too

Slightly OT, At the finish I queued up (well more like joined the mellee) for my certificate and got box in when trying to get out I then had a idiot deliberately ramming his bike into the back of my leg and saying you're in the way. I felt like saying, well I wouldn't be if you'd let me out Pr@t. Another idiot abroad but this one was wearing a London Dynamo top, great way to represent the capital

This comes as no surprise, from a Londonite who has seen plenty of Dynamo idiot's at first hand. Both on my commute and in Richmond Park.
