Here is why I've not been riding the roads..................

Tonight, decided to make life a little bit easier........ for just a mile .........hmmmmmmm..........back to pavements for now........ you can see the road conditions - that grey road isn't clear tarmac - frozen ice/salt mix..... and this is a town centre road.......

Bloody hell ! Anyone on standard tyres would have had fun I've mostly had the opposite with motorists where they have either waited or held back before overtaking ( they get a wave thankyou ) Where was that filmed ?

Stockport Town Centre......Just behind Peel Centre near Aldi...bloody mad....

Let's say, I went for the pavement after that as a truck started sliding at the St Mary's Way lights..... knobs...........

Pavements were fine, if rough....

I've been on studded tyres for ages & not yet had someone do that to me. Had the normal close passes which are really dangerous now as if the front tyre goes side ways over a branch etc. it can take a long time to start following the rotational direction of the wheel again.

Bugger ! Santa has been and gone,would definatly be looking into a set of those treads.
Roads up in Bolton have been fun and thankfully as i have said before motorists have been good.

And even once the snow/ice has gone, the roads are going to be trecherous as long as the molasses/rock salt mix remains on the roads, which it can do for some time.

2 x Hope Vison 1's on just Medium..got two other searing settings.... PS usually sat on my Fixed...... for road (bit OTT) easy swap.....

God my commutes are taking a long time now............

PS Wiggle had an offer on the tyres .....£26 ish each, then 'updated' my settings.....got both for £47 ish a pair ..... not bad really seeing how much these sort of tyres cost, and if I'm on the bus or car, it will cost me that in the next two weeks......

Need to keep fit for Dan's Track session - hoping not to fall off this time.......
